Like all greats before us, we are still built upon the backs of giants. What was once the Ambermill, and more before that, is now the ONLY Alea Iacta Est location. The background at present is a show of what awaits you at the large area. This is the common location for openings!

The Rules and Regulations:

OOC Rules:

  • We Have a Strict No Tolerance Policy for: bigotry (homophobia, transphobia, racism, ablism, etc), harassment, drama, etc. Our guests are here to enjoy themselves.

  • Due to mature themes and options this is an 18+ rp establishment. All characters and roleplayers must be 18+.

  • This is an immersive rp experience and staff and patrons alike are expected to be in character during business hours.

  • This establishment does not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism or hate of any kind. (( Does not apply to character races, such as Garlean spite, etc. ))

  • Harassment of staff and patrons is not tolerated.

  • Keep IC and OOC separate.

  • ERP is not permitted anywhere but in private rooms and only after purchase of ERP services. (Standby on those, none yet.)

  • Please dismiss minions if requested as they count toward maximum occupancy.

  • Any staff member's decision on business nights regarding patrons, removal of individuals, minions, warnings of bad behavior, etc, is made with the same voice authority as the Proprietress. A staff's say is final, do not escalate problems.

IC Rules:

  • We do not permit NSFW Content with Lalafel, though they are welcome to attend our SFW Services such as the bar, arena, and the general venue.

  • Please leave use of /yell and /shout to the Staff UNLESS You are partaking in an arena fight.

  • Please do not emote spam.

  • If your character's vibes are bad for the environment, staff may permit to ask them to leave.

  • Please leave use of Looking to Meld/Yellow tags to the Staff.

  • Our Venue is open 24/7 as a place to hang out and visit. If staff are present during non-business days, do not expect it to be business service levels, as it will be up to the staff member's discretion. Casual RP welcome always! Please respect the site at all times.

  • We Do Not Issue Refunds to Rule Breakers. If you are found to have broken our rules, or are asked to leave for any reason, you will not receive a refund for any goods or services rendered up to that point. You made your bed, now lie in it.

  • Weapons are allowed on your person in this establishment, but may be asked to be taken away if misbehaved or drawn inappropriately.

From our contracted affiliate, the Sunshine Bakery:

  • Regular Cream Puffs: Vanilla-Cream, Chocolate, Strawberry.

  • Regular Cookies: Sugar, Butter, Chocolate Chip.

  • Cupcakes: Vanilla or Chocolate, both with buttercream frosting.

  • Cheesy Bunny Buns: Little Bunny-Shaped Buns filled with melted cheddar and smoked gouda.

  • Garlic Herb and Cheddar Knots.

Bakery Specials:

  • Pie, by the slice or whole: Apple, Rolanberry Rhubarb, or Wildberry mix.

  • Cookies: Marmalade Drop or Lemon Blueberry.

  • Spiced Meat Handpies, in the shape of leaves: Auroch or Boar.

Arena Rules:

  • If you are dueling, regardless of system in use, all /random must be in open chat if there are bets on your fights. If you refuse, you will be ejected from the arena and tickets paid out to betters.

  • It is possible to lose your gil on fights. Bet wisely!

  • The total pool will be divided up between winning ticket holders, only 10% taken by the venue.

  • If no one else bets, the venue will put up an equal value ticket.

  • Tickets come in two values: 50,000 and 100,000. You cannot place custom bets.

  • Fights with bets or prizes must stop at 3 successful hits.

  • Fighter's posts must be posted in /yell chat for clarity

  • Before every fight, these rules will be said in game by staff.

  • After three consecutive misses, as called by Arena Master, they call a coinflip. Attacker chooses heads or tails, defender takes the opposite. Whatever it lands on, the other person takes a hit regardless of if they were attacking or defending. Emote accordingly after. /random 2 will be used!
